2023 WAI Conference Scholarship
January 1st is the first date to apply for our conference travel scholarship. The winner(s) will be given standby travel passes on WestJet to attend the annual Women in Aviation Conference in Long Beach, California. Scholarship closes January 25th, and winner(s) announced January 31st. All those interested must submit a 500 word narrative on why they would like to attend.

Join Us Student Scholarship 2021
Our membership consists of highly motivated women with diverse backgrounds in aviation all across Ontario.
We know aviation training is costly and we want to be able to help. This scholarship will allow two students each year to join the Upper Canada Chapter of Women in Aviation, International. The scholarship covers the annual membership fees for an International Student for Women in Aviation, International (a value up to $55 USD), as well as the Upper Canada Chapter membership dues ($10 CAD). Winners will be encouraged to attend as many chapter events as possible, with a recommendation of at least 50%.

Eligibility
Applicants must be enrolled in an aviation program, registered for self-paced flying, a member of the Royal Canadian Air Cadets, or a high school student. Applicants must live in the Province of Ontario.
International membership fees and chapter dues will be covered for a period of one year. Previous winners are encouraged to reapply.
Duration
Prepare a short bio (written/video/slides - get creative!) about who you are and why you feel being part of the chapter would be beneficial for you. Be sure to include where you currently are in your program or training (as applicable), as well as your future goals in aviation. Don't forget to have fun with it!
