The Royal Aeronautical Society Young Persons Network in Canada is pleased to announce our first virtual event: “Flying: International Perspectives”. It will feature a panel of four airline pilots from different countries. Before joining the airlines, these pilots flew in roles such as glider towing, flight instructing, agricultural aviation and humanitarian relief. Each brings their unique experiences acquired from flying in very different parts of the world, in both their own countries and abroad.
Discussion topics include training and career paths in different countries, international experience as a means of professional development, crew resource management training, the panelists’ advice to pilots and instructors, and more. The event will take place on Sunday, July 26, at 16:00UTC (12:00 Eastern Daylight Time; 17:00 British Summer Time).
Attendees are invited to ask questions during the event, or by submitting them in advance to raesypncanada@gmail.com The event is open to everyone who is interested.
